Federal Student Loans
Federal subsidized and unsubsidized loans are available to eligible students. Loan funds can be used to cover tuition and related costs.
Federal Pell Grant
Need-based grant funding that does not need to be repaid. Eligible students may receive Pell Grant funding to help reduce their tuition costs.
Veterans' Benefits (GI Bill)
Berk is approved for veterans' education benefits. Eligible veterans and service members can use their GI Bill benefits to fund their training.
ACCES-VR
Adult Career and Continuing Education Services — Vocational Rehabilitation funding for eligible students with disabilities who are seeking vocational training.

Financial Aid — Common Questions
It depends on the type. Pell Grants and most other grant funding do not need to be repaid. Federal student loans do need to be repaid after your program ends. Our admissions team will help you understand the difference and which options apply to you.
Start by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov — this determines eligibility for federal aid programs including Pell Grants and federal student loans. Once submitted, contact our admissions team and we’ll walk you through the next steps for enrolling at Berk.
Yes. Berk is approved for veterans’ education benefits, including the GI Bill. Contact our admissions team and we’ll help you through the VA certification process and ensure your benefits are applied correctly.
